Virtual PC 2007

Configuration: Windows 98 SE, 2 GB HDD, Game on CD or HDD

Windows 98 without Guest Addons
Works!
Bad: Some sound issues, e.g. cut off sounds at Blown Away's xylophone game

Windows 98 with Guest Addons installed
Unplayable
Intro videos work; main screens stay dark (DOS cursor visible). Even with Acceleration=none

Windows 3.11
Unplayable
Bad: Clock is really messed up. Videos are turbo. Also the normal game (background sounds) is turbo, and the system crashes due to overload.
Bad: All pictures/rooms are black

VMware Player

Configuration: 8 GB HDD, Game on CD

Windows 95/98/Me with Guest Addons installed
Works partially!
Bad: All videos are lagging, not fluid. However, in window mode, everything works.

VirtualBox

Configuration: 2 GB HDD, Game on CD

Windows 98 with SciTech Display Doctor
Works partially!
Bad: Videos are out of sync (videos run too fast, therefore the video ends before the sound is fully played). Even with Acceleration=none

Windows 3.11 with WinGroove, Game on HDD
Works partially!
Bad: Videos are VERY out of sync (motions running too fast)
Bad: Clock somehow buggy - time in puzzles goes too slow.
