3DO Extract and Analyze

Extract CD-ROM contents

Here are a few hints about extracting data from the 3DO CD-ROM:

1. Rip the ISO from an original CD, or download the BIN/CUE or ISO, respectively. If you have BIN/CUE, you need the tool bin2iso.exe to convert to ISO.

2. Use the tool OperaFS[De]Compiller to extract the contents into a Windows filesystem.

3. Use 3DOResExplorer to extract CEL files to BMP files.

4. Videos (*weaver) are compressed with SDX2 (Square-Root-Delta) Cinepak and should theoretically be decompressable with ZStreamChunksReader, but the resulting AVI was garbage somehow. If you have an idea how to convert the videos, please let me know.
