What is fixed?
GTA 1
- German (old
/ new):
- Fix: Reform Spelling (Neue Rechtschreibung) and some other small mistakes were fixed
- French (old
/ new):
- Fix: "œ"-Ligature (not existing and hence displayed as "!") was fixed
by replacing with "oe".
- Fix: "ñ" (not existing and hence displayed as "!") was fixed by replacing
with "n".
- Fix: Also Oui/Non was mixed up in the original translation.
- Japanese (old
/ new):
- Added language file
from the original Japanese
GTA1 CD
- Fix: Changed city names from Japanese to English, because the GTA
executable does only show European letters (maybe Japanese GTA has an
individual executable?)
- Fix: The Kanji characters 嗅 and 洒 are not in the game font and are
hence displayed as "!". They have been replaced with Hiragana
characters.
GTA London 1969
- German (old
/ new):
- Fix: Reform Spelling (Neue Rechtschreibung) and some other small mistakes were fixed
- French (new):
- Auto-Translated using A.I. (it was not translated in original game!)
- Japanese (old
/ new):
- Added language file from the
original Japanese London CD
- Fix: The Kanji character 訛 is not in the game font and are hence
displayed as "!" . It has been replaced with a Hiragana character.
- Fix: Small fixes

Note: To enable Japanese: For DOS, in Gtados\Startup.ini to change the
language to 4. For Windows, a Registry setting needs to be set.
